DISPLAYED,

SECOND BOARD – the starter is checking with the
rider on the line. The starting gate will drop
within approximately 30 seconds. All mechanics
must leave the starting line when this board is
displayed.

SECOND BOARD TURNED SIDEWAYS - The starting gate
will drop at any time.
3.
YELLOW
FLAG – Danger on the track, proceed with caution and
maintain your position until safely past the downed
rider/s. No passing or jumping is allowed in the
yellow flag area. All jumps and tabletops must be
rolled. Failure to use caution and follow the
preceding statements will result in loss of one
lap. Multiple infractions may result in
disqualification.
4.
BLACK
FLAG –An individual rider is being flagged off the
track. All other riders are to continue to race.
The rider so flagged will be pointed to by the
referee. Riders so flagged must on the next lap,
stop for instructions.
5.
RED FLAG
– The race is being stopped, proceed with caution
and report back to the starting line at once for
restart. If a red flag is out anywhere other than
the finish line, exit the track at that spot
immediately and proceed cautiously back to the
starting line for restart.
6.
CROSSED
FLAGS – Given at the finish line indicates the
race is at the half way point.
7.
WHITE
FLAG – Indicates there is one lap to go in the race.
8.
BLACK &
WHITE CHECKERED FLAG – Indicates the race is over.
When the winner receives the finish flag, the race
will be considered complete after the last rider has
crossed the finish line. You must race until the
checkered flag is clearly waved.
9.
Refusal
to obey official’s flags and or signals may result
in the rider’s disqualifications for the day’s event
and be subject to further penalties as decided by
the referee/s. |
